Freelancers shouldn’t have to wait Net30 for their hard-earned payment — Archie can get you paid in Net1.

Freelancers, this is not a drill. Archie’s new feature EarlyPay allows you to get paid *one day* after your invoice has been approved. Say goodbye 👋 to 30, 60, 90 day payment terms. We want to get cash in your bank account ASAP.

Here’s how it works through frequently asked questions.

Why do Net30 payments exist in the first place?

*Deep sigh* good question. Those payment terms are usually set to assist the company with their cash flow. They often need time to receive a payment from their client, in order to pay you. The buffer of time can also be used to cover any additional internal communication between accounts payable.

Why is Archie offering flexible payment terms?

We get that 30, 60 or even 90 days is an insane amount of time for freelancers to wait for compensation. You have rent to pay, bills to cover and tons of other pesky day-to-day expenses that pop up along the way.

Archie wants to take the financial stress out of freelancing and even the playing field, so flexible workers can feel just as secure as regular workers.

Why do we charge a fee?

If you choose to go with a Net1 payment, we charge a .3% fee. So, for example, if you make $1,000 on a gig, we’ll collect $30 from that total

Here’s why: we’re fronting the money for the company you worked for, so we can get you paid as soon as possible. In order for us to do that, we need to charge a small fee per invoice, so we can continue to provide immediate cash flow to freelancers.

How does payment work?

If you opt for a Net1 payment, Archie will pay you directly through the bank account that you have linked with us. The fee will be automatically deducted from your payment.

Is the money a loan?

Nope! All yours. Enjoy that hard-earned cash 😎.

Do I always have to choose Net1?

No. That’s completely up to you. When it comes time to receive your payment, you’ll have the option to choose Net1 or stick with the original payment terms that the company set out for you. If you go with the original payment terms, Archie won’t charge you a fee.

How does the process work?

It’s quick and simple!

  • Fill out an invoice through our platform.
  • Submit the invoice for approval.
  • Once the invoice is approved, you choose how and when you get paid: Net1 or the original payment terms.
